You've seen his work. Artist Dale Chihuly created the 20-foot-tall glass sculpture (1,200 hand-blown cobalt blue tendrils) that towered behind stars like Beyonce and Jay-Z at the MTV Video Music Awards. And his Crystal Tree of Light (originally installed in the White House) was recently plugged in at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock. You don't have to go far to see his illuminating work; he has an exhibition scheduled in nearly every state in 2005. See what all the hype is about.
